Bison Ribeye Steak

The taste of bison is very similar taste to beef. It has a coarser texture and a slightly sweeter flavour. It does not taste gamey. There is no aftertaste like some game animals such as moose.

Highly marbled with a large swath of fat separating the Longissiumus from the Spinalis. Fat is where a lot of the distinctive flavour of bison comes from, making ribeye one of the richest cuts available. The central eye of meat tends to be smooth textured with a finer grain than a strip steak, while the Spinalis section will have a looser grain and more fat.

There is one steak per package.

Each steak weighs about 230g.
